Several Awards for Excellence in design were achieved including:
- Alpha Rho Chi Medal in Architecture
- Portland Cement Scholarship to study at the prestigious
L'ecole des American at Fontainebleau, France.
- Gold Pin and Phi Kappa Pi medals for being the top male Graduate
of the University of Manitoba (This was the first time an architectural
graduate received this award.)
George's professional work experience was obtained with the established architectural firm, Margison, Keith, Sage, and Hamlin of Toronto.
As Chief Designer in the architectural practice, several innovative designs
of large scale commercial and industrial projects were realized across Ontario and Quebec.
In 1971, George founded the firm of KNEIDER ARCHITECTS and has been steadily developing the firm's scope of projects, state of the art, design and technology. He continues to direct all aspects of the practice and has led several successful projects in the educational, sports complex/arenas, commercial, automotive showroom design.
